The Plant Based Guide is a practical resource for people who want to eat more plants without making everyday food complicated.
About Dylan Callens
The Plant Based Guide was created by Dylan Callens, an Ontario-based teacher with more than 20 years of experience in education and a long-standing interest in practical, plant-based living.
Dylan has been passionate about plant-based eating for more than 15 years. Over that time, he has explored the everyday questions that often determine whether plant-based eating feels sustainable: what to buy, how to cook unfamiliar ingredients, how to make substitutions work, how to read labels, and how to build meals that fit real schedules.
His background in teaching shapes the approach of this site: explain things clearly, break complicated topics into useful steps, and focus on information people can actually apply.
